Ok so I have come to a realization, I hate programming in Java. Well, really I hate programming web applications in java. The biggest problem is our implementation I think. We are using Sun Java Application Server 8.2 as the server, and Sun Studio Creator as the IDE. First off the IDE is slow and loves to eat memory. Second, in order to get anything done you build the gui in a jsp file, then the backing code in a java file which gets compiled into a classfile, and for better functionality you have to use javascript as well.

i'm sure if anyone else was reading this, they'd say, what the hell? great job hon. as long as you know what it means. how about posting something that is legible to the rest of us? giggle.
